About the Founder

Who I am

 I'm Aaron, founder of Free Folk Collective. I'm an everyday guy who believes we can become more capable, more self-reliant, and less dependent on systems outside our control. I don't have all the answers—I'm learning and building right alongside everyone else..

Why I Started Free Folk Collective

  I’ve become increasingly focused on growing food, preparedness, practical skills, supporting local producers, protecting privacy, and strengthening connections with the people around us. Free Folk Collective began with a simple belief: independence does not mean doing everything alone. Strong, self-reliant people still need strong communities. 

WHAT WE'RE BUILDING

 Free Folk Collective is a local mutual-help network where neighbors can share useful goods, exchange skills, lend a hand, learn from one another, and become more self-reliant together. Social media may help people discover us, but FreeFolkCo.com is our home—and the Free Folk Community is where those connections begin.
